Where our pieces come from

Every brand you see on Maria Faisal is one we are an official stockist of. That means:

• Supplied by the brand. Our pieces come to us directly from the designers we stock, not from other retailers or third-party sellers.
• Proof on request. If you'd like to see evidence that we are an official stockist of a particular brand, just ask and we'll share it.
• Our own stock. We hold stock of the designs we sell, so many pieces are ready to dispatch rather than ordered in after you buy.

Popular designs often sell out on a brand's own website soon after launch. Because we hold stock as an official stockist, a design that shows as sold out elsewhere may still be available with us.

Unstitched and stitched outfits

This is why labels can differ from order to order. Outfits tailored by the designer usually carry the designer's label. Outfits tailored by our team may carry a Maria Faisal label instead of, or next to, the designer's. The fabric and the design are the same either way.

How to verify your order

Every product page lists the design name and, where the designer uses one, the design code. You can search for these on the designer's website, catalogue or social media and compare.

If you'd like more proof, message us before your order is dispatched and we can:

• Share proof of our official stockist status for that brand.
• Ship your outfit in the designer's original packaging instead of ours.
• Include the designer's inlay card.

Our checks before dispatch

No order leaves us without a quality check. We look at:

• Embroidery and embellishment: complete, secure and undamaged.
• Print and fabric: no flaws, stains or colour faults.
• Stitching and fit: seams, finishing and measurements against the size you ordered.
• Labels and codes: the designer's label and design code, where the designer provides them.

How to spot a copy anywhere

Replicas of popular Pakistani designer outfits are widely sold online. Use these checks with any seller, including us:

• Check the price. If a "designer" suit costs far less than on the designer's own site, it is almost certainly a copy.
• Ask for the design name and code, then find that exact design on the designer's official channels.
• Ask whether the seller is an official stockist, and whether they can show proof. A genuine stockist can.
• Look closely at the work. Originals usually have dense, even embroidery. Copies tend to use lighter fabric, patchy thread work, or printing where the original is embroidered.
• Inspect labels and packaging. Spelling mistakes on labels or plain unbranded wrapping are warning signs. A stitched outfit may still carry a retailer's or tailor's label, so this alone doesn't mean it's fake.
• Check the seller. A real business has a registered company, a contact address, working support channels and genuine reviews.

Is everything you sell original?

Yes. We don't produce or copy designs. Every piece is from the designer's own collection, supplied to us as an official stockist of that brand.

Are you an official stockist of every brand you sell?

Yes. We only carry brands we are an official stockist of, and we can show proof for any of them on request.

Do you hold your own stock?

Yes. We hold stock of the designs we sell, so many pieces are ready to dispatch.

Why is there a Maria Faisal label on my outfit?

When our team stitches or finishes an outfit, our label may replace or sit beside the designer's. The fabric and design still come from the designer.

Can my order come in the designer's packaging?

Yes, if you ask before dispatch. We can also add the designer's inlay card. Otherwise it ships in Maria Faisal packaging.
